In talking over the possibility of planning a summer vacation, my doctor corrected my misunderstanding that I’m going to have four total rounds of chemo. I’m actually going to have four rounds of consolidation therapy (post-remission chemo), so including my initial induction chemo, that’s five total rounds. Which means I’m only halfway done, not just with one more month to go. Argh!
The overall impact isn’t huge. Instead of being done with everything by late April, I won’t be done until late May. And we could go to the Grand Canyon in June as we’d been thinking, but might change that to August instead.
